We Are Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. Sherman Residents Directory is privately operated. We cannot pull or certify a record, verify who lives at an address, or change a government database. Send those requests to the office that holds the record. For an emergency, call 911. If you believe someone is stalking or harassing you, contact local police.

Finding the Right Sherman Record

Choose the public route that matches the record rather than sending private information to a general directory contact.

  • Street or parcel question: use the Sherman street directory and GCAD/GIS sources.
  • Historical household or directory volume: use the Sherman directory book and library or TSLAC resources.
  • One-person record check: use the Sherman resident lookup process.
  • Property deed, probate, or local vital route: contact the Grayson County Clerk.
  • City document, permit, or archive item: use Sherman’s City Clerk and Public Records Request Center under the Texas Public Information Act.

Grayson County Clerk, Property Deed Records: 100 W Houston St, Suite 17, Sherman, TX 75090. Phone 903-813-4239. The county lists Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday hours of 8:00 to 4:30 and Wednesday hours of 8:30 to 4:30; the property counter may close from noon to 1:00. Confirm hours before travel. The Clerk’s office page and Official Records Search identify its public access routes.

For a city-held record, send a focused written request that gives the address, record category, date range, and contact information. Sherman lists City Hall at 220 W Mulberry for City Clerk delivery and cityrecords@cityofsherman.com as an email channel. Its records-request page has the current process. Narrow requests help the custodian find the right material and apply confidentiality rules correctly.
